The Works of the Flesh vs. The Fruit of the Spirit

The whole world lieth in wickedness. A simple reading of today’s news will bring to your attention all kinds of sin. Yet, Galatians 5:19-23 tells us that we should put away those works of the flesh and focus our attention on the fruit of the Spirit. The aim of this volume is to enhance the reader’s appreciation for the nine elements which make up the fruit of the Spirit and to encourage our refusal to participate in the works of the flesh.

The book opens with a study of the battle for the soul. The next two sections discuss in detail the works of the flesh and the fruit of the Spirit. Expository sermons on flesh vs. Spirit follow. Four chapters by/for women round out the book.
