With his decision to preach, Boles’ move to Nashville to enroll in Bible classes at the National Bible School.  Later David Lipscomb appointed him to teach Bible classes and even later nominated him to be president of the school (later named David Lipscomb college).  Boles’ was a staff writer for the Gospel Advocateand eventually its editor.  His influence through pulpit, in Christian education, and Christian journalism made him one of the most influential religious figures of his day. 265 pages
