Studies in Philippians and Colossians opens with seventeen chapters containing an extensive  introduction to each book, summaries of the books, and verse-by-verse exegesis and exposition of the epistles. The commentary section is followed by chapters on two of the major topics contained in these letters. Eight chapters comprise the False Doctrines and Difficult Passages sections. 

The last section of the book is material presented during a 4 day debate on the Holy Spirit between Mac Deaver and Jerry Moffitt.
