Human nature has not changed much
in 2,000 years. Residents of ancient Athens thought all knowledge originated
and resided in them—sounds like many of us today.
Yet despite our egos, we find something
lacking in our lives. We seek deeper meaning. We seek the spiritual. We seek to
know God. But where do we find Him?
The apostle Paul declares that
the one true God is not found among the many idols on Mars’ Hill. The God who
made the world does not dwell in temples made with hands, yet he is not far
from anyone. He is the God who raised Jesus from the dead.
