This book contains more than 250 charts which address the background and context of the Mosaic dispensation and tell how it played an important role in God's overall plan for the salvation of man. It deals with major elements of this dispensation such as the law, the priesthood. the holy days, the covenants, the tabernacle, and the sacrifices. This book is not intended to be a comprehensive history of the patriarchs or of the Jewish nation. Instead, it focuses on selected areas deemed most helpful in understanding the New Testament and God' s plan to redeem sinners through Jesus Christ. It also is designed to show the continuity of God's eternal purpose as He works throughout history to prepare the world for the salvation that was to come at the cross.
